About Marys House

Marys House started out as the dream of a small group of people who used their faith in God to help make Marys House a reality. Located in the rural upstate of South Carolina, Marys House is able to provide services to domestic violence victims where they had previously been unavailable or scarce. It is also a testament to the power of the community in creating a domestic violence program. Marys House is a multi-faceted organization which is made up of not only a domestic violence shelter, but also many programs devoted to raising domestic violence awareness in the community including the teen dating violence awareness program. While Marys House has come great lengths since its original inception, there is always more to be done. The staff and volunteers of Marys House are constantly looking to the future and are forever devoted to the domestic violence cause.
